1. Data controller
Monqelix SRL, with RNC 1-32-58471-3 and registered office at Av. Winston Churchill No. 1099, Torre Citi, Piso 14, Piantini, Santo Domingo D.N., Dominican Republic, is the controller of the personal data collected through the site monqelix.com. You can contact us at contacto@monqelix.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect the data you voluntarily provide through the subscription form (name and email address), as well as technical data generated by your browser (IP address, device type, operating system, pages visited) through cookies and similar technologies, in accordance with Google Consent Mode v2.
3. Purpose of processing
We use your data to manage your newsletter subscription, send you communications about new real estate crowdlending opportunities, improve our services, comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud. We do not make automated decisions that produce legal effects on you.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on your explicit consent at the time of subscription (Law No. 172-13 on the protection of personal data of the Dominican Republic), compliance with applicable legal obligations and the legitimate interest of Monqelix SRL in operating and developing its platform.
5. Data retention
We keep your personal data while you maintain an active subscription and, afterwards, for the legal periods applicable under commercial, tax and anti-money laundering regulations in the Dominican Republic.
6. Recipients
We may share information with technology providers acting as data processors (email delivery, cloud hosting, analytics) and with competent authorities when required by law. We do not sell your data to third parties.
7. International transfers
Some providers are located outside the Dominican Republic. In those cases, we ensure that transfers are carried out under appropriate contractual clauses and levels of protection equivalent to Law No. 172-13.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, delete, object to processing, request portability and withdraw your consent at any time. You can exercise these rights by writing to contacto@monqelix.com, attaching an identity document for verification.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls and periodic audits of our systems.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. The current version will be published at this same URL indicating the date of the last update.
